Editorial independence
The Editor-in-Chief has full authority over the content of the journal. The publisher does not influence decisions on individual manuscripts. Commercial considerations — including payment of the APC — never affect editorial decisions.

Submissions from editors and the publisher
Manuscripts authored by the Editor-in-Chief, board members or staff of OriGene Biosolution are assigned to an independent handling editor and reviewers, and the author has no access to the review. Such articles carry a note identifying the conflict. The journal monitors the proportion of articles from its own editors and from any single institution to keep the author base diverse.
